Vir Island and the settlement of the same name, located in the northern part of Dalmatia, are connected to the mainland by a bridge. The island situated only 26 km from Zadar a city accessible via air travel. The island is far from crowded, featuring only a few settlements. In contrast, along its 30 kilometer coastline, you will find a mix of sandy, fine pebble, and rocky beaches, offering an ideal spot for everyone. All of this, combined with the untouched environment, stunning pine trees, and the red rocks of Duboka, creates a fantastic atmosphere. Vir's mild Mediterranean weather provides a very pleasant climate year-round, with nearly 300 days of clear sunshine.
